Pack your bags, and get ready to travel the world! Passport Around the World offers you the opportunity to experience other cultures. Each station is a new Country to explore. Fill your passport with stamps from all the Countries represented! Girls travel from table to table and experience activities from different countries such as: crafts, games, songs, traditions, foods, beverages, tours or displays. Additional activities include: picture scavenger hunt, search a word, country question sheet and a voting booth. Girls will receive a passport, an agenda of activities and a patch.

There are two ways to participate.

Host a Country

Individuals or troops may choose to host a station celebrating their favorite country. To host a country, please include three country choices girls would like to host and email to sfowle@gscsnj.org after registering. Your group’s County will be emailed 5-7 days after registering. This way there will not be any duplicate Counties. Displays that plan to include a dance, song, or something to teach, please email sfowle@gscsnj.org with a title of the activity, how long the activity will be and how many sessions of the activity the girls would like to present so that this can be included on the days schedule of events. Each troop hosting a County will be provided with three 8′ (foot) tables. Please email sfowle@gscsnj.org if electricity is needed. Girls need to choose and bring one stamp to represent their country and have an ink pad to be able to stamp “Tourist” passports as they visit their Country. Country display set up starts at 12:00 noon. All attendees must stop at the program event sign in table. Please plan to keep display and supplies available until 3:30 PM. This program typically draws 250-300 girls. Final counts will be emailed about 1 week prior to the event to the adult who emailed the country choice.

Be a Tourist

Girls may choose to attend and participate in the day’s activities without hosting a table. All Tourists please sign in at the event registration table at 1:00 pm.

Leadership Outcome: Connect – Girls will advance diversity in a multicultural world.

4 Program Aides will be accepted for this program, e-mail Stefanie at sfowle@gscsnj.org for this opportunity
